The Canning World Arts Exchange is proud to produce the 2015 festival performances with the courageous and insightful talents of Turkish and Australian playwrights Hakan Silahsizoglu and Will O'Mahony. Joining them from Istanbul, Turkey are the Sema Whirling Dervish Dancers led by Master Tambur player Ahmet Benli and supported by our own Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts Dance Graduates. The Melbourne Ottoman Mehter Military Band is joined with the energetic and talented Fremantle Symphony Orchestra and the University of Western Australia Choral Society, conducted by Chris Van Tuinen.
