The Canning World Arts Exchange is the City’s newest event that is built on inviting international guest artists to collaborate with local Western Australian artists. This inaugural 2013 year will see the premier Chinese Beijing LDTX Dance Company perform with 8 local Nyoongar Aboriginal Visual Artists creating illuminating floating sculptures for the majestic Canning River. This evening of spectacular live music and dance is supported by the Danza Viva Spanish Dance Company, Wadumba Aboriginal Dance Group, Chung Wah Lion Dancers and culminates with the Fremantle Symphony Orchestra and the 160 Voice strong UWA Choral Society singing the magnificent Carmina Burana.
